We are looking for positive and upbeat individuals to join our new restaurant called Fügassa Italian Eatery in Osoyoos focused on delicious Italian sandwiches, pastas and salads in a bright, modern and classy environment.
We are especially looking for those who can work together with our existing kitchen team. You will be making and assembling sandwiches, plus assisting with kitchen and ingredient prep. Training in our techniques will be provided but previous kitchen experience is a big asset.
This position requires an individual with excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and creating delicious meals.
Responsibilities:
- Work together as a kitchen team to prepare and expedite meals efficiently
- Follow food safety protocols.
- Prepare food items according to recipes and customer specifications.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Starting compensation is $19 per hour plus tips which average an extra $4-6 per hour or more (approx $23-$25 per hour).
