Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Taper, Texture, and Finisher to join our construction team here at 3D Empire Drywall Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing drywall surfaces to ensure a professional appearance on residential and commercial projects. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Drywall Taper, Texture, Finisher plays a crucial part in delivering high-quality finishes that meet project specifications and client expectations.
Duties
- Apply joint compound to drywall seams and corners, ensuring a seamless finish
- Sand and smooth surfaces to prepare for painting or further finishing
- Install and tape drywall joints with precision and care
- Priming, painting, and finishing ceilings
- Have knowledge of all tools and proper maintenance of tools
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute finishing details
- Collaborate with carpenters, painters, and other trades to coordinate work flow
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assist with minor handyman tasks as needed to support project
- Prior experience in drywall finishing or related construction trades is mandatory
- Knowledge of construction painting, carpentry, caulking, and blueprint reading is highly desirable
- Handyman experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility across various construction tasks
- Strong understanding of construction processes and safety standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Physical ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and perform detailed finishing work

Pay: $20.72-$37.87 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
