We are looking for a produce clerk to join our team. Healthyway Natural Foods has been in business for over 30 years and employees around 35 people in our community. Previous experience & an interest in local & organic produce is preferred!
This is a position that has opportunity for advancement and more advanced responsibilities for a suitable candidate that has previous experience and can demonstrate a strong aptitude for learning in this department.
Responsibilities:
Assist with receiving orders and ensuring order and invoice accuracy.
Ensuring that back stock and walk-in cooler is organized, accurately labelled and dated.
Ensuring product quality and communicating with the manager on product that requires credit.
Stock, cull, and maintain displays consistently throughout shift.
Prepare produce for wet rack.
Providing outstanding customer service.
Maintaining cleanliness of the dept.
Adhere to food safe standards.
Skills required:
Previous produce experience is preferred for this position.
