Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Junior Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will support kitchen operations, assist with food preparation, and contribute to maintaining high standards of food safety and service. Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of senior chefs or managers
- Support food handling and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Help with food service, including plating and serving dishes to guests when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
- Support team management by supervising junior staff during shifts when required
- Contribute to inventory management by assisting with stock checks and ordering supplies
- Uphold hospitality standards by providing excellent service and maintaining a positive attitude
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Supervising experience or team management skills are a plus
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and handling procedures is desirable
- Restaurant or kitchen experience within the food industry will be advantageous
- Leadership qualities, including strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, are essential
- Familiarity with restaurant management practices and hospitality standards is beneficial

Pay: $50,000.00-$54,000.00 per year
