Job Posting: Golf Course Maintenance Superintendent
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Golf Course Maintenance Superintendent to oversee all outdoor maintenance operations and daily groundskeeping duties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the golf course is maintained to the highest standards while supervising staff and coordinating daily tasks to keep the course in excellent playing condition.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily golf course maintenance and outdoor operations
- Supervise and assign tasks to maintenance staff
- Ensure greens, fairways, bunkers, tee boxes, and landscaping are properly maintained
- Monitor irrigation systems, mowing schedules, fertilization, and pest control
- Inspect course conditions and address maintenance issues promptly
- Operate and oversee maintenance equipment and ensure proper upkeep
- Schedule and coordinate seasonal projects and improvements
- Ensure safety procedures and maintenance standards are followed
- Manage inventory, supplies, and maintenance budgets
- Adjust daily work plans based on weather and course conditions
Qualifications:
- Previous golf course maintenance or landscaping management experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of turf care, irrigation systems, and groundskeeping equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
