Position: Head Coach - Boys U8 Competitive Program
Terms: October 1st 2026 - September 30, 2027 with possible extension into future season(s).
Hours: Part Time
Remuneration: $4000-$6000 year (based on experience and certifications)
Job Location: Markham, Ontario for practices and Greater Toronto Area for matches
About:
Infinity Soccer Academy is the newest Academy in York Region. Using European methodology, we plan on creating the best environment for players to develop into future soccer talents! For the 2026-2027 season, we are excited to be launching our competitive program, beginning with the Boys U8 (2019/2020) team. We are looking for our competitive program's first Head Coach.
Relationships
Direct Reports: Technical Director
Key Areas of Responsibility:
1. Coach children of various ages and skill levels focusing on the individual needs of each player
2. Assist in the development of resources and tools to aid in the development of our players.
3. Program administration
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct soccer practice sessions which are commensurate with the level of the participants while working collaboratively with your Assistant Coach.
- Attend and Coach the Team within their weekly games
- Maintain constant and clear communication with the Academy's Technical Director and the Team's Parents.
- Be professional, punctual and most importantly, love coaching!
Qualifications:
- Minimum: FUNdamentals and/or Learn toTrain
- C License or B License are preferred (either from Canada Soccer or UEFA)
- Minimum 3 years teaching soccer programs, coaching soccer and with a wide variety of ages is an asset.
- Playing experience at a high level (College/University, League 1, Professional) is a big asset.
