Duties
- Provide a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, blowouts, and special treatments
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles and products
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all workstations and tools
- Upsell hair care products and retail items to enhance client satisfaction and salon sales
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments
- Ensure a positive client experience through excellent communication skills and personalized service
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hair styling in Canada with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Strong communication skills to effectively listen to client needs and provide professional advice
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols in a salon environment
- Ability to upsell retail products naturally during client interactions
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred
