This is a year-round position, transitioning from landscape maintenance in the warmer months into snow operations during the winter.

Pay within the range is based on what you bring to the role—including landscaping experience, training level, driving ability, equipment skills, horticultural knowledge, reliability, and overall ability to take on responsibility.

Your Role
During the spring, summer, and fall, you'll help maintain and enhance residential and multi-family properties throughout Calgary.
Your work may include:
- Lawn mowing and line trimming
- Garden bed maintenance and weeding
- Hedge and shrub pruning
- Spring and fall clean-ups
- Landscape enhancements and property improvements
A typical summer day runs around 7:00 AM–5:00 PM. You'll generally start at the first property or another agreed location rather than reporting to a yard. Most days include 2–3 condo or multi-family sites, travelling between properties with your Crew Lead and team in a truck and trailer.
Many crews stay on the same properties throughout the season, so you'll get to know your sites and take ownership of how they look.

A valid Class 5 driver's licence and comfort driving work vehicles are strong assets, with greater driving ability contributing to advancement and pay opportunities.
What Winter Looks Like
Year-round work means transitioning into snow operations when winter arrives.
Snow schedules depend on the weather. Hours are irregular, and availability may be required seven days a week, including weekends and holidays, when it snows.
During slower winter periods, eligible employees may participate in Oasis's Supplemental Unemployment Benefit (SUB) program, which helps provide more consistent income even when there isn't snow to clear.
