Summary
We are seeking a Part Time Cashier/Closer to join our team at Loughlin's Country Store. This role is vital in ensuring our customers receive excellent service and a pleasant shopping experience while supporting our store operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs.
- Operate POS systems efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the store and food areas.
- Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales.
- Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times.
- Closing store including cleaning of floors, garbage removal, sanitizing bathroom.
- Support team members in daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cashier and using POS systems.
- Smart Serve Retail Certification.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong math skills for cash handling and transactions.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is preferred.
- Previous experience in food service or retail is an asset.
- Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
