CD Media Inc. is hiring a Freelance Videographer / Photographer with Video Editing experience to help capture premium media content for custom home builders, construction companies, commercial contractors, trades businesses, and real estate development projects across the Greater Toronto Area.
We specialize in high-end, cinematic content designed for social media, marketing campaigns, websites, and brand growth within the construction industry.
This role includes:
- On-site video production
- Architectural & construction photography
- Drone videography
- Social media video editing
- Construction progress documentation
- Short-form content creation (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)

Key Responsibilities
- Capture professional 4K video content on active construction and trades job sites
- Shoot high-quality architectural photography (interior + exterior)
- Film cinematic walkthrough videos of completed homes and commercial spaces
- Capture dynamic action footage of construction and trades work
- Operate gimbals, tripods, handheld rigs, and professional camera systems
- Conduct drone photography and videography (if licensed)
- Organize and deliver properly structured project files
- Work independently and professionally during site visits
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience as a Videographer, Photographer
- Experience shooting construction, trades, real estate, or architectural content
- Strong understanding of composition, lighting, framing, movement, and storytelling
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro
- Must own a professional 4K-capable mirrorless camera
- Must own or have access to a gimbal and tripod
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle for daily travel across the GTA
- Must be available during weekday daytime hours on an ongoing basis
- Comfortable working in active construction environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Transport Canada Advanced Drone License
- Experience operating DJI drones
- Sony camera experience (FX3, etc.)
- Strong understanding of vertical video formatting and social media optimization
- Background in architectural photography or luxury real estate media
Schedule
- Approximately 10 hours per week to start
- Weekday daytime shoots
- Flexible scheduling with recurring weekly availability required
