Ward One Smokehouse is looking for a reliable, hardworking team member to join our kitchen crew as a Dishwasher / Line Cook. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in keeping a clean workspace, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish pit and kitchen areas
- Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
- Support service by preparing menu items to recipe and quality standards
- Restock kitchen supplies and maintain inventory levels during service
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning duties
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends
- Previous kitchen experience is an asset but not required—we are willing to train the right person
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation is required, as there is no public transit available to our location.
