Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, and commercial and industrial wiring practices. The Journeyperson Electrician will operate a service truck, as well as build new commercial and light industrial projects, ensuring safety and compliance at all times. 10% holiday pay and full benefits.
Duties
- Proficiency in commercial electrical construction and telecommunication installations. Ability to produce small time and material take off's
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, including wiring, lighting, motors, and control panels.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical work efficiently and safely.
- Assist in renovation projects by upgrading or replacing existing electrical infrastructure.
- Follow all safety protocols and electrical codes to ensure a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using multimeter, meggar, etc..
Skills
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Proficiency in conduit installations
- Proficiency in cat 6 installations
- Proficiency in diagnosing customer requirements and designing solutions that meet code requirements
- Strong skills in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices for renovation projects.
- Ability to diagnose electrical problems quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting across various systems.

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
