Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a thorough understanding of food safety and hospitality standards. Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Manage team members through interviewing, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to promote a motivated and efficient staff.
- Oversee POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper kitchen procedures.
- Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly to maintain positive relationships.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff on food quality, presentation, and preparation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the restaurant including dining areas, kitchen, and storage.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
- Extensive restaurant management background with knowledge of food industry standards.
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
- Experience operating POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead diverse staff members effectively.
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of barista or bar management experience is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing food service teams with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage food handling procedures responsibly.
