Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service to our clients. This position is in a commercial setting with a primary focus on commercial buildings and condo buildings.

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in commercial settings.
- Troubleshoot issues with heating, cooling, and ventilation systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure system efficiency.
- Must have strong knowledge in MUA's, RTU's, Controls and Building Maintenance
- Chiller knowledge is an asset
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each job. Including filling out and submitting Preventative Maintenance reports.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with plumbing, appliance repair, and building codes related to HVAC installations is an asset
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Valid driver's license is necessary; ability to travel to job sites as required.
- Must be registered as a Journeyman or Third Period Apprentice or higher in Alberta
- Priority will be given to technicians who also have their Alberta Electrical Journeyman Ticket
