What You’ll Be Doing
As a Mortgage Agent, you'll play a key role in helping individuals and families secure the financing they need to purchase or refinance a home. This is a client-first role where your communication skills, attention to detail, and drive to succeed will shine.
You’ll learn how to:
- Consult with clients to understand their financial goals and explain mortgage options in simple, clear terms
- Review client profiles (income, credit, and debts) to determine mortgage eligibility
- Match clients with the best mortgage products from dozens of lenders — no one-size-fits-all here
- Guide clients step by step through the mortgage process from pre-approval to closing
- Work closely with lenders, real estate agents, and lawyers to coordinate smooth, successful closings
- Maintain accurate records using CRM tools and simple tracking systems
- Stay informed on market trends and lending rules (we’ll teach you how)
- Deliver excellent customer service that builds trust and referrals

What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (you enjoy talking to people)
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented — you take initiative and want to grow
- Coachable and open to learning new skills
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage your own time and tasks
- Tech-comfortable (basic Excel or CRM skills are a bonus but not required)
- Fluent in English (additional languages are an asset)
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Must be 18+ and willing to complete the licensing process
