We are seeking a Carpenter or Apprentice Carpenter to join our team in Canada. This role is vital in supporting our manufacturing and modular construction projects, contributing to high-quality craftsmanship and innovative building solutions.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute construction tasks accurately
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform carpentry work efficiently.
- Assist in the installation of cabinetry, flooring, and other woodwork components.
- Support concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry tasks as needed.
- Ensure safety standards are maintained on-site during all phases of construction.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Assist with site preparation, heavy lifting, and material handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience or apprenticeship in carpentry or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment.
- Good physical condition with the ability to perform heavy lifting.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Knowledge of safety procedures in construction environments is preferred.
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
