Setting up and operating 3, 4 and 5 axis computer numerical control (CNC) machine
Measure components with a variety of precision measuring tools for first part set-up and ongoing quality control
Maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Machining by studying work orders, blueprints, , materials, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
Setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs
Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers, indicating vices, etc.
Assist in other tasks as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong knowledge of G-Codes and Fixture design
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 4 years of related experience
Knowledge of Manual machining preferred
Knowledge of proper use of cutting tools
Must be a highly motivated self-starter that can identify potential problems and collaborate with management to take action
Must possess willingness to assist where needed to ensure the company meets its goals and objectives on time
Must possess time management skills
Willing to learn and apply new skills
Good written and oral communication skills
Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively
Strong organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-4 & 5 axis machining and required 1 Year Min.
- Program experience
- Experience manufacturing components in a variety of different materials
Must be able to learn procedures quickly and be a team player
Easily adapt to new organizations / technical environments
Project management on small to medium projects
Must be eligible for Canadian Controlled Goods Program
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIORNMENT:
Frequently required to sit, walk, or stand
Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard
Frequently required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds
Work on Specialized equipment

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
