We are growing and have recently opened a new state-of-the-art mechanic facility to support our expanding fleet and operations. We have an exciting opportunity for a Truck and Coach Mechanic Apprentice (310T) to join our team of skilled fleet and operations professionals.
The Truck and Coach Mechanic Apprentice will have the opportunity to learn and assist with the mechanical repair and maintenance of our extensive fleet of trucks, trailers, light vehicles, and construction equipment.
Schedule: Dayshift, Monday to Friday
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist with routine inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, and servicing of trucks, trailers, light vehicles, and heavy equipment
- Support licensed mechanics with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs
- Assist with repairs to equipment systems including hydraulics, electrical, driveline, steering, suspension, and brakes
- Help perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and available for use
- Assist with service calls and off-site repairs as required
- Help with the installation of new and added-on equipment
- Complete work orders, time cards, and other required documentation accurately
- Follow workplace safety policies, regulations, and procedures
- Perform other mechanical repair and maintenance duties as required
What we’re looking for:
- Currently registered as a Truck and Coach Technician (310T) apprentice
- Previous mechanical experience or exposure to trucks, heavy equipment, hydraulics, electrical systems, or diagnostics is considered an asset
- G driver’s licence with a clean abstract
- Familiarity with construction equipment is considered an asset
- Strong willingness to learn and develop within the trade
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Compensation: The starting hourly wage for this role is generally between $25 and $25 per hour, depending on experience.
