Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team at Southern Comfort Hearth and Home. This role is essential for supporting various operational tasks across our projects, ensuring smooth workflow. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, reliable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment. Prior experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Work Monday to Friday as required.
- Working out on the road in company vehicle with supervisor.
- Assisting in installing fireplaces, gas lines, chimney sweeps, delivering furniture.
- Must be willing to work in all weather environments. Be comfortable with lifting and moving heavy items such as fireplaces and furniture.
- Must be comfortable working on a ladder.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials or equipment as directed
- Support team members in completing construction or maintenance tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work sites to promote safety and efficiency
- Operate basic tools and machinery
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times
- Perform general labor duties such as lifting, and carrying materials
- Must be presentable and professional working on site in customer homes.

Experience
- Prior experience as a general labor is mandatory
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the workday
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are preferred

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
