Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various construction, manufacturing, or maintenance projects by performing a wide range of manual tasks. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment. Prior experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Prepare work sites by cleaning and organizing tools and supplies
- Perform general manual tasks such as lifting, digging, and moving materials
- Support skilled tradespeople with their tasks as needed
- Maintain safety standards by following proper procedures and wearing protective gear
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision
- Ensure work areas are clean and free of hazards throughout the shift
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently
Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
- Good communication skills to understand instructions and collaborate with team members
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment is advantageous but not mandatory
- Reliable work ethic with punctuality and dependability
