We’re looking for a dynamic & expressive team member for the position of Office Administrator who can bring that story to life for the Summer. This temporary position runs from May 4 to August 30, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Leadership Team as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee and maintain office administrative processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Develop, coordinate, and manage organization-wide administrative projects, including databases, office inventories, templates, and contact lists.
- Perform routine administrative functions such as filing, answering phone calls, and responding to emails promptly and professionally.
- Foster professional relationships with internal partners, stakeholders, customers, and contractors to support collaboration and communication.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests, multitask, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic business environment.
- High level of confidentiality, ethics, and professionalism; capable of handling sensitive information with tact and discretion.
- Strong political and cultural sensitivity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and other relevant software.
- Effective organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience working with diverse teams across cultural backgrounds and age groups.
Other Requirements
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
- A clear Criminal Record Check is required.
- Must be a student returning to school in Fall 2026.
Employment Details
Schedule will be based on working 32 to 40 hours per week depending on the needs of Métis Crossing, and will include weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
