Gingrich Pork is a family owned and operated agriculture business.
We have a 1800 sow operation. This is a new barn startup with Nedap ESF's.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated worker to work with the pigs. The duties of this position could include but are not limited to: Breeding sows, daily monitoring of pig feeding system and water lines, monitoring health of the sows, treating sick pigs, pressure washing and cleaning of empty rooms, preparing for pig entry and maintenance of barns.
Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.
The successful candidates will be punctual, reliable, able to do moderate physical activity with some lifting, have a positive attitude and be able to work as a member of a team.
Must have valid driver’s license.
Previous farm experience is an asset but we are willing to train an individual with a desire to learn.
