Yard Labourer / Formwork Preparation Technician

Best Choice Form Rentals Ltd. is seeking a dependable and hardworking Yard Labourer / Formwork Preparation Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position responsible for preparing formwork and construction equipment for customer deliveries, maintaining yard organization, and supporting daily operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is comfortable working with construction tools and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Clean, inspect, and prepare formwork and construction equipment for rental.
- Organize, sort, and stage materials for upcoming deliveries and pickups.
- Repair and maintain formwork using hand and power tools.
- Operate tools and equipment including hammers, drills, saws, grinders, and other shop tools.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Keep the yard, warehouse, and work areas clean and organized.
- Identify damaged equipment and report maintenance requirements.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist with general yard and warehouse duties as required.
Qualifications
- Previous labour, construction, warehouse, or yard experience is an asset.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Forklift certification is an asset but not required.
- Construction or formwork experience is an asset but not required.
