Diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
1–3 years of software development experience with exposure to production support or cloud operations.
Experience developing and supporting cloud-native solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SNS, SQS, EventBridge , CloudWatch, and RDS (PostgreSQL).
Proficiency in Node.js or Python for backend development, with Python considered an asset.
Experience building and supporting RESTful APIs and system integrations.
Understanding of event-driven architectures, asynchronous messaging, distributed systems, and DLQ monitoring.
Experience troubleshooting production issues across cloud services, applications, and integrations.
Experience working with PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or other relational databases.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working within Agile development environments.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills.
A passion for learning cloud technologies and building reliable, scalable backend systems.
Bonus Skills:
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or higher.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Exposure to JavaScript or TypeScript.
Experience with monitoring, observability, and logging tools such as CloudWatch.
Experience supporting enterprise integrations across cloud and on-premises systems.
