We are seeking full-time, permanent team members for asbestos abatement projects throughout Saskatchewan. Job description
We are looking for experienced candidates with the right attitude and a work ethic that falls in line with Prairie Asbestos’s values. Supervisors/Lead Hands are responsible for the following tasks:
- Supervising the removal of hazardous materials (mainly mold and asbestos) from residential and commercial buildings in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety guidelines.
- Supervisors will be scheduled as abatement workers when not leading jobs
Required
- Driver's License
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- Criminal record check required for successful applicants
- Must be able to perform physically demanding jobs (must be able to safely lift 50 pounds)
- Be able to give and accurately convey instructions
- Ability to work well with others and alone
- Respect the privacy of clients, their property, and their homes
- A willingness to work in crawl spaces, attics, indoors and outside
- Candidate must be willing to be shaved for abatement work
- CSA-approved steel-toe boots are required, all other personal protective equipment is provided by the company
Preferred
- Construction: 1 year
- Asbestos remediation experience
- Experience in leading asbestos abatement projects
