Overview
We are looking for a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Sales, Marketing & Event Rental Assistant to support our growing event rental and décor business. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that combines sales, marketing, customer service, administration, rental operations, and event support. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, enjoys working with people, and is comfortable taking on a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, text, and social media.
- Assist customers with rental selections and provide product recommendations.
- Prepare quotes, invoices, contracts, and process bookings.
- Follow up with customer inquiries and maintain strong client relationships.
- Create and schedule social media content and online marketplace listings.
- Perform general administrative tasks, filing, scheduling, and data entry.
- Inspect, package, and prepare dinnerware and linen rental orders for customer pickup.
- Load and unload rental items for customer pickups and returns.
- Assist with event setup
- Support inventory counts and quality control.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support daily business operations.
Experience & Qualifications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media platforms.
- Sales, retail, customer service, or event industry experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Valid G driver's license and access to a vehicle is an asset.
- Availability to work weekdays, with occasional evenings and weekends during busy event periods.
Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
