POSITION SUMMARY
The Front of House Supervisor supports daily café operations while helping lead the front-of-house team. This role focuses on hospitality, team support, and maintaining Forno Cultura’s service and presentation standards.
The Supervisor supports the FOH Manager and leadership team in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and a consistent guest experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Hospitality
- Deliver warm, thoughtful, and professional guest service.
- Support and coach team members during service.
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented environment.
- Assist in resolving basic guest concerns on the floor.
Operations
- Support daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Assist with ordering and inventory management.
- Support onboarding and training of new employees on the floor.
- Support labour and sales targets through efficient shift execution.
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed and maintained.
Shift Leadership
- Lead the floor during assigned shifts and support smooth service flow.
- Take ownership of shift execution standards while on duty.
- Maintain accountability for service and operational standards during shifts.
- Lead during rush periods, prioritizing speed, flow, and guest experience.
- Stay floor-based and present during service (not administrative).
- Assign and coordinate tasks during service as needed.
- Ensure stations are set up and maintained for efficient operations.
- Communicate operational issues to FOH Manager or leadership team.
- Support end-of-day closeout procedures and shift handover.
Store Standards
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the store.
- Ensure merchandising, signage, and displays reflect Forno Cultura standards.
- Support waste reduction and operational efficiency.
LEADERSHIP EXPECTATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in hospitality or café leadership.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Passion for hospitality, food, and team development.

Pay: $19.00-$20.50 per hour
