We are currently seeking to add a Delivery Driver to our growing team.
Title: Delivery Driver
Location: Edmonton, AB
Position Type: Permanent Full Time / Seasonal
Reporting To: Dispatch / Dispatch Supervisor
Responsibilities and Duties
· Delivering required materials to designations in a timely manner
· Pre-plan routes
· Proper tie-down of materials being transported
· Load, unload, and prep of materials
· Tow behind of hitch trailer, cement mixer, light plant, pump, etc.
· Daily housekeeping / Maintaining shop areas
· Inventory control
· Assisting other departments
· Record keeping of materials being delivered
· Upkeep of vehicle cleanliness
· Perform daily Pre-Trip inspections
· Daily paperwork
Qualifications and Skills
· Experience towing trailers is required
· Knowledge of city driving
· Class 5 driving license with clean driver’s abstract
· Physically capable and able to lift 50+ lbs.
· Water & sewer knowledge is an asset
· Minimum 2 years driving experience
· Ability to operate skid steer / forklift / loader is an asset
· Able to work in a fast paced environment
· Ability to work weekends, evenings and overtime
