Our publicly traded mining client is a high profile organization in the downtown core. They are adding a Senior Treasury Analyst to the Finance team and looking for a few years of Treasury experience, ideally from the mining sector but open to others.
The Senior Treasury Analyst will be responsible for a wide spectrum of finance and treasury activities and be a valued member of a small Treasury team. Role will include:
The role supports global treasury operations with a focus on metals management, cash and liquidity activities, banking transactions, financial risk monitoring, and treasury reporting. This Analyst is responsible for executing day-to-day treasury activities, providing analytical support, and coordinating across internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient operations, strong controls, and timely financial outcomes.
Reporting to Treasury leadership, the Analyst is a key contributor within a high-performing Treasury team and plays an important role in maintaining accurate data, supporting informed decision-making, and enabling continuous improvement across treasury processes. The role encourages intellectual curiosity and continuous learning, including the thoughtful adoption of emerging technologies and AI-enabled tools to enhance analysis, reporting, and operational efficiency within established governance and control frameworks.
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Commerce, or related field.

2 to 5+ years of related work experience, ideally mining, oil & gas.

Professional designation (CPA or CFA) preferred, or progress towards one.
