Job Summary:
As a Dental Assistant, you will provide essential support to our dentists, hygienists, and patients. You will assist with a variety of dental procedures, maintain patient records, sterilize equipment, and ensure that the dental office runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and have a genuine passion for helping people maintain their oral health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during exams and procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Prepare treatment rooms for patients and ensure they are properly set up
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Record patient medical histories and treatment plans
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the office’s appointment calendar
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent certification (preferred but not required)
- X-ray certification (where required by state)
- Previous experience in a dental office is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour
