Recycling Specialties Inc. is a licensed waste transfer station looking to hire a full time yard labourer in our Utopia location in between Barrie and Angus.
Job Description:
- Working directly with the public
- Helping to direct traffic into the transfer building while helping customers unload waste
- Upkeep of yard - sweeping, shoveling and keeping a clean and organized work area
- Sorting waste and recycling materials in the transfer station as well as helping to prepare loads to be shipped
- Driving and maintaining machinery such as a loader, skid steer and forklift
- working in winter and summer weather conditions
- Cleaning, sanitizing and prepping portable toilets
- Hours are Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM with the occasional half day on a Saturday may be a requirement
Successful candidate will be personable and friendly with customers, able to work independently and as part of a team. Punctuality is a must.
We offer paid training, competitive wages and benefits after 4 months.
