Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Assistant to join our vibrant bakery team. The ideal candidate will support daily bakery operations, assist with food preparation, and ensure the delivery of high-quality baked goods and customer service. Duties
- Assist in preparing and baking a variety of baked goods, including cookies, pastries, and syrups
- Handle food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients and assembling products
- Ensure proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and work surfaces
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries and selections
- Follow all food handling regulations and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Experience or training in baking is highly desirable
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus, especially within the food industry
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, baking, and food safety protocols
- Ability to handle food products safely and hygienically
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Knowledge of packaging techniques for baked goods
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic kitchen experience including use of baking tools and equipment
