We are an established music school seeking experienced piano teachers who love to teach!

Taber Music School offers lessons in piano, violin, viola, cello, guitar, ukulele, bass guitar, and voice. We teach students of all ages and skill levels, and pride ourselves on tailoring lessons to each unique individual student. We also provide mentoring and pedagogical support to our teachers, and believe that excellent written and oral communication skills are a must.
We are currently looking for a teacher for private lessons on Saturdays beginning in September.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and skill levels.
- Implement group lesson plans and activities.
- Teach piano techniques and music theory, fostering a love for music in students.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to enhance students' musical abilities.
- Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement.
- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment, especially for young children.
- Utilize classroom management skills to maintain focus and discipline during lessons.
Qualifications
- Strong teaching and tutoring skills, particularly in piano instruction
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students and parents
- Experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting
- Ability to create a positive and encouraging learning environment
- Secondary teaching instruments are considered an asset, however not required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
