We're seeking an Application Support Analyst to join the IT team at a major manufacturing operation in Northern Ontario. This is an opportunity to work with enterprise applications, reporting tools, and modern Microsoft technologies while collaborating with teams across operations, finance, HR, and production.
Whether you're troubleshooting critical applications, developing Power Platform solutions, or supporting business users, your work will have a direct impact on operational success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Application & Business Systems Support
- Support and maintain critical business applications, including ERP and payroll systems.
- Investigate and resolve application issues while working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Assist users with troubleshooting, process improvements, and workflow optimization.
- Participate in application upgrades, testing, and new system implementations.
- Manage user access, permissions, and application security.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts that support business decision-making.
- Design and develop solutions using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Support integrations between business systems and applications.
- Perform data validation, analysis, and database queries.
- Gather requirements and deliver practical solutions that improve efficiency and productivity.
- Participate in IT projects from planning through implementation.
- Help drive automation and process improvement initiatives.
- Support change management activities and user training.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to align technology with business goals.
- Support IT audits, SOX controls, access reviews, and governance initiatives.
- Assist with cybersecurity, documentation, and compliance activities.
- Work closely with the IT team to support end users and operational systems.
- Assist with ticket triage, major initiatives, and technical troubleshooting.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of IT experience, including experience supporting business applications.
- Strong understanding of change management, cybersecurity, and IT compliance practices.
- Experience with:
- Active Directory
- Windows environments
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate)
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- SAP or ERP experience preferred.
- Manufacturing or industrial environment experience.
- French language skills preferred.
- Experience supporting reporting and business intelligence solutions.
