Duties
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and relay messages promptly
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Accuro, ensuring confidentiality and organization
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and rescheduling to optimize provider availability
- Support medical staff by preparing examination rooms and handling administrative paperwork
- Handle front desk responsibilities with professionalism, including managing patient flow and addressing concerns efficiently
- Perform point of care testing such as urine tests, pregnancy tests, etc.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a medical or dental office environment is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately communicate with healthcare professionals and patients
- Proficiency with electronic health record Accuro is beneficial
- Previous experience as a receptionist is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing office tasks and records
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems confidently in a fast-paced setting
- Demonstrated office experience supporting front desk operations and administrative functions
