At Hearthfire, we offer trauma-informed counselling and psychotherapy in Kamloops and online across BC. Role & Responsibilities:
In this role, you will provide grounded, compassionate, and trauma-informed care to clients in Kamloops, BC. This position includes a strong focus on supporting children and youth, and we are looking for someone who brings both clinical skill and a warm, human approach to the work.
Key Requirements:
* Candidates must hold a current Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) membership or a Registered Social Worker (RSW) designation in good standing.
* Background can include a Master’s in Counselling.
* Strong experience working specifically with children and youth.
* Training in therapeutic modalities appropriate for children and youth, such as play therapy, expressive arts, youth-focused CBT, or similar approaches.
* Availability: Schedule will vary, but availability Wednesday–Sunday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM is ideal. The number of hours will vary per week as the caseload builds up.
