On behalf of our client, Procom is seeking multiple
IT Hardware Technician for a temp position in Calgary.
IT Hardware Technician - Job Details
- Install/move Devices such as Point of Sale Devices (POS) and Scanners
- Run through pro-active check-list measures prior to office opening.
- Verify Network connectivity / Wi-fi networks.
- Ensure devices are up and running prior to business hours.
- Print and test ticketing system.
- Provide basic troubleshooting with Hardware devices, internet connectivity and assist users where required.
IT Hardware Technician – Responsibilities
- Turn on each computer and launch the Back Office application
- Verify connection to internet and Back Office login/logout.
- Print a test ticket from each boca printer.
- Passwords/Password Resets
- Permission Updates
- Creating Operators in Back Office
- Assist with Reprints/Refunds (if allowed)
- Finding accounts/orders in Back Office
- Assist with customer inquiries at the window.
IT Hardware Technician - Mandatory Skills
- 1+ years of experience in working with non-technical users.
- 1+ years of experience in a customer-support capacity
- 1+ years in hardware troubleshooting experience
- 1+ years of experience troubleshooting with Network/Wi-Fi connectivity
- Previous experience doing password resets, permission updates, pro-actively checking devices
- Previous experience with IOS (Apple iphone, etc)
