Job Description
· Blundon’s Trucking and Excavating Ltd. is seeking Crusher Loader Operator.
· This will be at the Valentine Gold Mine.
· Rotational shift (14x14) with camp accommodations provided
Qualifications & Abilities
· Completion of High School diploma or equivalent is a requirement
· Class 8 driver’s license
· Heavy Equipment Operator training from a recognized program would be considered an asset.
· A minimum of 3 years experience operating a loader around crushers
· Experience with crusher equipment operations is an asset
· Current Drivers abstract and criminal record check required
· Must pass Medical and Drug/Alcohol Test.
· Willingness to adhere to both workplace & site-specific procedures and policies
· Must be able to work unsupervised
Duties and Responsibilities
· Perform daily maintenance and safety checks
· Clean equipment as scheduled and/or required
· Advise the Foreman of any requirements for maintenance or repairs
· Must be well versed in construction site protocols, rules and code of conduct
· Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
· Comply with all safety policies and procedures
· Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that projects are completed properly
