Responsibilities
- Providing quality grooms tailored to individual pet and owner needs
- Communicating effectively with pet owners regarding grooming preferences and instructions
- Handling pets gently and confidently to reduce stress and ensure safety during grooming process
- Bathing, full haircuts (breed specific cuts as well as new trends), and walk in services (nail trims, pad shaves, etc)
- Maintaining clean work areas
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to maintain our good relationships with pet parents, and clear and professional communication to ensure top service
- Grooming experience required (2+ years preferred)
- Ability to handle pets gently while maintaining control during grooming procedures
- Heavy lifting and ability to work with large dogs
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality grooming standards are met
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patience and compassion for animals
