At Café Mexico, we believe hospitality should feel vibrant, genuine, and full of energy. We’re looking for a Bartender / Server hybrid who can move comfortably between the bar and the floor, bring strong cocktail experience to the team, and understand that great service is about more than just taking orders — it’s about culture, rhythm, and creating memorable guest experiences.
This role is primarily for someone with a bartending background, with serving as a strong secondary skill. We want someone who can step behind the bar with confidence, execute consistently in a fast-paced environment, and also support the floor when needed. Just as important, we’re looking for someone who understands what Café Mexico is building through its food, drinks, and guest experience.

What You’ll Do
This position blends bartending and table service responsibilities depending on the needs of the shift.
Bartending
- Prepare cocktails, margaritas, and other beverages with consistency and speed
- Maintain strong knowledge of classic cocktails, agave spirits, and Café Mexico’s beverage style
- Keep the bar clean, stocked, and organized throughout service
- Deliver a high standard of guest interaction at the bar and in service bar production
Serving
- Provide warm, knowledgeable, and efficient table service
- Guide guests through the menu, make recommendations, and support the overall dining experience
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate clearly with the kitchen and bar
- Manage section flow, pacing, and guest needs throughout service
Team & Culture
- Support the team wherever needed during service
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and hospitality-driven workplace
- Understand and reflect Café Mexico’s standards around food, cocktails, culture, and guest experience
- Help maintain a service environment built on consistency, communication, and energy
What We’re Looking For
The right candidate will bring strong bar experience first, while also being comfortable and capable on the floor.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a cocktail bar
- Serving experience in a busy restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and classic bartending technique
- Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
- A professional, calm presence during busy service
- Strong communication and hospitality instincts
- An understanding of or genuine interest in Mexican food, agave spirits, and cocktail culture
