Monarch Health Solutions Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mobile Physiotherapist to join our growing in-home healthcare team in Victoria, BC. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centered physiotherapy care to seniors in their homes through our Ageing-in-Place program.
The Physiotherapist will complete assessments, develop treatment plans and support clients in improving mobility, function and independence while aging safely at home. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who values autonomy, flexibility and meaningful patient relationships in a community-based setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home physiotherapy services to clients in Victoria and surrounding areas
- Complete comprehensive physical assessments, including mobility, strength, balance, gait and functional abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with client goals and needs
- Implement therapeutic exercise programs and mobility interventions
- Recommend mobility aids, adaptive equipment and home safety modifications as appropriate
- Educate clients, families and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and safe mobility practices
- Document assessments, interventions and progress notes accurately and on time
- Collaborate with Monarch’s interdisciplinary healthcare team to support client wellness and independence
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain professional and ethical standards at all times
- Manage your own schedule and appointment availability independently
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physiotherapist
- Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited program
- Current registration and good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC)
- Valid professional liability insurance
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (required for home visits)
- Strong assessment, communication and documentation skills
- Experience working with seniors or in community/home-based settings is an asset
- Ability to work independently with excellent clinical judgment and time management skills
