Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Care Technician to join our team and help maintain beautiful, healthy landscapes for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening and landscape maintenance, with the ability to operate various tools and equipment. Duties
- Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and general landscape maintenance to ensure high-quality results.
- Operate equipment such as excavators, power tools, hand tools, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently.
- Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems to promote healthy plant growth.
- Assist with gardening tasks including planting, fertilizing, pruning, and weed control.
- Conduct routine inspections of landscapes to identify issues related to horticulture or construction needs.
- Maintain equipment through regular cleaning, lubrication, and minor mechanical repairs.
- Follow safety protocols during all operations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members on larger projects involving landscape construction or maintenance.
Skills
- Experience with landscaping equipment such as excavators, hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance techniques.
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and minor repairs of equipment.
- Strong gardening skills including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and weed management.
- Familiarity with construction practices related to landscape installation or renovation projects.
- Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently in outdoor environments.
- Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
