Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and caring environment for dogs during their stay at our daycare facility. Responsibilities
- Supervise and interact with dogs to ensure their safety and well-being throughout the day
- Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent conflicts or injuries
- Assist with feeding, watering, and administering medication as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the play areas, kennels, and common spaces
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ activities and any concerns
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure environment for both dogs and staff
Experience
- Prior experience working with animals is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills are essential for interacting with pet owners
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Passion for animals and a caring attitude towards pets of all sizes and temperaments
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in pet care or related fields is a plus but not mandatory
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
