Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a deep understanding of food safety, food preparation, and hospitality standards. This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing a team, supervising food handling procedures, and maintaining high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff and ensuring smooth workflow
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
- Handle cash transactions and POS systems such as Micros POS with accuracy and integrity
- Lead team management activities including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Maintain excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Supervise serving staff to optimize service efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of supplies
- Enforce cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards across the restaurant environment
- Develop schedules, assign duties, and oversee staff to ensure operational efficiency
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service setting
- Extensive restaurant management background with knowledge of food industry standards
- Hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training restaurant staff
- Background in hospitality or hotel management is a plus
- Previous barista or food handling experience is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper kitchen procedures
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
