THE OPPORTUNITY
An established and highly respected Machinery / Heavy Equipment manufacturer located in Mississauga (Malton) is seeking an experienced Licensed Industrial Millwright (433A) to join its maintenance team.

Working as part of the maintenance team, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve a wide variety of industrial machinery and production equipment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability, manufacturing productivity, product quality, and workplace safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform preventative, predictive, and emergency maintenance on manufacturing equipment and production machinery.
Troubleshoot mechanical failures and complete repairs quickly to minimize production downtime.
Maintain and repair pumps, compressed air systems, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic systems, conveyors, and other plant machinery.
Diagnose equipment failures and determine permanent corrective actions.
Perform welding, machining, fabrication, and rigging as required.
Install, assemble, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and production equipment.
Operate cranes, hoists, jacks, tractors, and other lifting equipment safely during equipment installation and repairs.
Inspect machinery and equipment to identify irregularities, excessive wear, and potential failures.
Work closely with production personnel to resolve equipment performance and product quality issues.
Complete work orders, maintenance records, parts requisitions, inventory documentation, and quality sign-off documentation accurately.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability, manufacturing productivity, safety, and product quality.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, environmental policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and internal quality standards.
Report unsafe conditions or hazardous behaviour immediately.
Participate in ongoing technical and safety training.
Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Licensing
Valid Ontario Industrial Millwright Certificate (433A) required.
Experience
Minimum 3-5 years of Industrial Millwright experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience performing preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
Experience troubleshooting industrial manufacturing equipment.
Experience maintaining pumps, compressed air systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic equipment.
Experience operating general-purpose machine shop equipment.
Welding, fabrication, and rigging experience.
Experience assembling, installing, and repairing industrial machinery.
Technical Skills
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic ability.
Excellent working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
Competency in welding and minor fabrication.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
Commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
