Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various commercial and office spaces. This role is essential in creating a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Prior custodial experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and contribute to a clean workplace.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies are low
- Use commercial cleaning equipment such as buffers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers as needed
- Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment during all cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines
- Adhere to company standards for cleanliness and sanitation protocols
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and climbing ladders if necessary
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
