Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Front Desk Attendant to join our hospitality team. This role is vital in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse guest base effectively.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using hotel management software
- Address guest concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are prepared and issues are resolved swiftly
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette, guest service, and hospitality at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in front desk operations or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual skills are a plus
- Familiarity with front desk software systems and multi-line phone systems is advantageous
- Experience working in a hotel or similar hospitality environment is desirable but not mandatory
- Demonstrated professionalism, positive attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills
