Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Arborist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care with a strong understanding of arboricultural practices. As an Arborist, you will be responsible for the health, safety, and aesthetics of trees in various environments. This role requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team while utilizing specialized equipment to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
Duties
- Assess the health and condition of trees through visual inspections and diagnostic tools.
- Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal as necessary to maintain tree health and safety.
- Operate bucket trucks and other rigging equipment to access trees at various heights safely.
- Implement landscape maintenance practices, including planting, and mulching.
- Collaborate with clients to provide recommendations for tree care services based on their needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices while performing all arboricultural tasks.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating bucket trucks and rigging equipment safely.
- Strong knowledge of tree species, growth patterns, diseases, and pest management.
- Experience in landscape maintenance practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining physical stamina for lifting and climbing tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship in all aspects of tree care.
- G License is required Dz or Arz preferred
- 3 Years experience required as this is a crew lead position
