Job Summary
The Projects Work Technician is responsible for performing specialized commercial cleaning services beyond routine janitorial duties. This role focuses on project-based work including carpet cleaning, window cleaning, post-construction cleaning, floor scrubbing and waxing, deep cleaning, and other specialty services. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, physically capable, and committed to delivering high-quality results that exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform commercial carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions
- Complete interior and exterior window cleaning safely and efficiently
- Conduct post-construction cleaning projects
- Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, and burnishers for stripping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors
- Perform deep cleaning services in offices, medical facilities, retail spaces, and other commercial properties
- Move furniture and equipment as needed to complete project work
- Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
- Maintain and properly store tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals
- Load and unload equipment and supplies for off-site projects
- Identify and report maintenance or safety issues at job sites
- Communicate professionally with supervisors and team members
- Complete required documentation such as work orders and project checklists
Qualifications
- Previous commercial cleaning or floor care experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods
- Comfortable working at heights (ladders/lifts)
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, or flexible shifts as projects require
Work Environment
This position works in various residential and commercial environments including offices, medical facilities, schools, industrial buildings, and construction sites. Work may be performed during off-hours, including nights and weekends, depending on client needs.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage (based on experience)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
