Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for food preparation and innovation. As the Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and inspire your team to achieve excellence in every dish served.
Duties
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including kitchen supervisors, cooks, and dishwashers
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality standards
- Develop and update menu offerings in collaboration with the Director of Food and Beverage, incorporating current culinary trends
- Participate in event planning and execution, including: Brewmaster Dinners, Oktoberfest, St.Patrick's Day, Sporting Events, Festivals, Community Events
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations across all kitchen activities
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs effectively
- Train and mentor team members to improve skills, efficiency, and teamwork
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment in accordance with health codes
- Lead by example in serving customers and maintaining a hospitable atmosphere
- Coordinate with management team to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of kitchen leadership experience.
- Previous experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager.
- Experience in a high-volume restaurant, brewery, pub, or hospitality environment.
- Strong understanding of food costing and inventory management.
- Food Handler Certification.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
